Heart Start Training Institute offers courses that instill the knowledge, skills, and most up to date information required to recognize and respond to medical emergencies.
Our Adult, Child &/or Infant First Aid/CPR/AED training courses focus on responding to medical emergencies for an adult, a child, &/or an infant. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements, but does not need the certification to come directly from the American Red Cross.
Our courses meet all American Red Cross standards and are taught by our Red Cross authorized & licensed certified instructors. These courses are taught using a more hands-on approach. Say goodbye to those boring lectures and outdated videos!

Duration: ~2-3 hours
Price: $110 for Initial Certification, $99 for Renewal or CPR/AED ONLY (must show proof of current certification for all renewals)

American Red Cross Adult, Child & Infant First Aid/CPR/AED Hybrid Learning Course
The Adult, Child and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED hybrid learning course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants.
It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements.
This class is taught in a hybrid learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile, desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion, a valid 2-year digital certificate for Adult, Child and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

Format: Hybrid (online portion MUST be completed prior to in-person skill session or participant will not be able to complete the course)
Duration: ~3-4 hours (in person) plus the online course (at your own pace)

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Medical Professionals
Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult child and infant patients.
This class is taught in a hybrid learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the instructor-led skills session.
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with anytime/anywhere access to certificate and training history.
In support of improving patient care, American Red Cross is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
